Cas Holman is a New York based designer and educator whose work explores the intersection of play, learning and creativity. She’s designed playgrounds, play-spaces, learning materials and toys including the award winning Rigamajig which is used by children worldwide. Cas works with collaborators from all disciplines who share her passion for creating opportunities for child-directed free play. An Associate Professor of Industrial Design at the Rhode Island School of Design (RISD), she prototypes her playthings on five acres known Camp Fun in Hope, RI. She and her work were recently featured in the documentary series Abstract; The Art of Design on Netflix.
